Sustainable and Ethical

We believe that choosing sustainability and ethical practices is no longer optional but a responsibility.

We work with a family-owned wood workshop in Mumbai that makes paying fair wages a priority.
We work with a variety of skilled and experienced artisanal wood workers and experts in polish and staining who are local to Mumbai.
Our products are made from rubber wood. Using rubber wood extends the life of the tree as they are initially planted to harvest natural latex and are cut down once the tree reaches the end of its productive life. New trees are planted where the old ones are removed, and the trees that are cut down will be burned or go to waste if not used for other purposes.
Because we value sustainability over appearances our packaging may look simple, but it is all made from recycled materials and is 100% recyclable. Our furniture is also flat packed for home assembly to reduce packaging.
